Hemp seed oil can be used to provide a natural finish to nourish and protect wooden surfaces

In its favour, hemp seed oil is non-toxic and chemical-free and can be safely used on your food grade chopping boards and benchtops. You can confidently slice tomatoes, knead dough, and protect your wooden tableware without contaminants. Other oils may be made with toxic chemicals and potentially harmful elements.

For wood preservation, apply with a clean cloth or brush. Let the oil penetrate for 15 minutes or so, wipe off any excess and then buff the surface with a clean cloth. Apply one to three coats, allowing two hours between coats.
