Hemp hearts can be used to make a crunchy and nutritious crumb coating for tofu, chicken, prawns, etc - So versatile!
This recipe makes enough crumb to coat a block of Tofu, or around 300g of meat, seafood, or anything you like.
If you're feeding more than two people, just double the recipe.

Directions
You will need three separate bowls for dipping. One each for the cornflour, beaten egg and almond meal/hemp heart mix.
As you would normally do with a breadcrumb coating:
1. First coat your Tofu/Meat/Seafood in the cornflour
2. Then dip it in the beaten egg. Make sure you get both sides.
3. Then coat it in the half and half mix of almond meal and hemp hearts.
Bake at a temperature that is relevant to the Tofu/Meat/Seafood you are using, until cooked to your liking.
