Finally re-ordering my Wondercore Hemp Hurd, this stuff seems to last forever, I love it! I use it in my chicken coop, I am very fussy and clean my coop daily. Although you really don’t need to with this stuff, I still do but find it way easier and faster than I did when using other products like hay, wood shavings etc. even if I go away for a few weeks when I return the coop is still dry and has no smell. It seems to repel or eliminate odours, it dries out all the poop making it easy to clean the coop stays dry and warm. I have not had any bugs or mites (yep none, I’ve even had the vet confirm this as they couldn’t find any on one of my chickens either) I have given away some of the hemp to friends to try as it goes a long way. They too love it. The service and deliver times from this company My Hemp Farm are also super fast and friendly.

My chooks are loving this. The only downside I had was it seeming a bit dusty when putting it into the hen house, so I ended up coughing a lot. This may have been my lack of technique though when emptying it in. Smells lovely.

HI Amanda, thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear you found it dusty when taking from the bag. To help with that, you can lightly sprinkle with water after laying it down.Rest assured it is non allergenic for your chooks and will keep them drrier longer 🙂
