Soak the dates over night or for 15 min in hot water, so they soften.
Put all ingredients together in a blender and blend on high for a minute until smooth.
Pour the liquid through a nut bag or fine sieve to filter out bits, especially if you are using it in coffee.
(Don’t throw away the pulp – it can be added when you are making smoothies, bread, crackers or bliss balls)
Pour the milk into a bottle or jar and put in the fridge. It will keep for 3-5 days.
Experiment with adding your own flavours by adding other sweeteners like maple syrup, cacao, cinnamon or vanilla paste.
Tip:
Dust the froth of your coffee with cinnamon, cocoa or a drizzle of honey!
