Cauliflower Cutlets

Cauliflower doesn't have to be boring! This recipe makes sophisticated use of the humble cauliflower, giving it some serious wow factor!

Serve as a main, side dish, or cut into bite sized pieces and enjoy with our Hemp Hummus as a snack, or for entertaining.

Vegan option available using our Vegan Parmesan Cheese, and also delicious with our Speedy Hemp Mayo.

Ingredients

 1 large cauliflower
 olive oil
 hemp hearts
 Seasoning of choice - e.g garlic & herb, onion salt, chilli etc
 grated parmesan - or cheese of choice

Directions

1. Preheat your oven (190 degrees Celsius) or air fryer
2. Trim the leaves from the bottom of the cauliflower and cut off the stem
3. Cut the cauliflower in half down the middle, through the stem.
4. Take one half of the cauliflower and cut it into 3/4 to 1-inch slices—you should end up with several decent sized steaks and the small pieces can be saved for another dish.
5. Brush generously with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning, hemp hearts and cheese.

ROASTING OPTIONS:
1. If roasting in the oven, line a tray with baking paper, flip carefully when beginning to brown and then brush the other side with oil, seasoning etc.
2. Or, roast for approx 15 minutes in an air fryer. No need to flip but you may need to cook in batches. Don’t try and fit them all in together. They need space between.
